Ollie was the first kitty I adopted from somewhere other than the rescue where I was a volunteer. My friend Sharon & I went to PetSmart after we had dinner at Logans, as was our custom. We always looked at the kitties in the cages, and when I saw Ollie I had to have him! He was also the first kitty of mine who wasn't a solid color!
He was a great kitty! He slept with me and loved to have his belly rubbed. He would "help" me make everyone's meals and would go to the litter boxes to cover up whatever the others left uncovered. He was friends to all the other kitties in the house & never picked a fight. Simon was his best friend. He was great at hiding when it was his turn to go to the vet!
One day when I got up, I discovered Ollie's breathing was labored. I rushed him to his doc, and she pulled a very large amount of fluid from his lungs. She also did a bunch of tests & the results showed he had lymphoma. The removal of the fluid didn't help his breathing, and I had to let Ollie go be with his brothers and sisters at the Bridge. My heart is broken. I love you, Ollie. xoxo ♥♥
